About This Product
Magnum Oscar Copertino 2015 is crafted from carefully selected indigenous grapes from the Copertino DOP area. Controlled fermentation gives it a deep red colour and a persistent bouquet of mature forest fruits and spice. Aged 24 months in barrique, it offers a dry, velvety and flavourful palate. Perfect with roasts, grilled dishes and aged cheeses.

Serving Suggestions & Cooking Instructions
Spicy & Robust First Courses: This wine is a natural partner for “spicy first courses.” Serve it with Orecchiette with Nduja or a fiery Arrabbiata. The velvety texture of the wine coats the palate, helping to balance the heat of the chilli.
Braised Meats: The structural depth of the 2020 vintage makes it “ideal for braised meats.” Pair it with Ox Cheek slow-cooked in Negroamaro or a rich lamb shank. The forest-fruit aromas provide a brilliant lift to the deep, savoury flavours of the meat.
The Mature Cheese Board: Pair with Aged Cheeses that have a bit of a “bite,” such as a 24-month Pecorino Riserva or an extra-mature Provolone. The spice notes in the wine mirror the piquant notes of the cheese.
Service Temperature: To appreciate the full “velvety character” and the complexity of the 24-month oak ageing, serve at 18°C. Decanting for 30–45 minutes is recommended to allow the bouquet of ripe forest fruits to fully open.
