    Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to common questions about our authentic Italian products, ordering, delivery, and sustainability practices.

    What is Hyde Farm?

Hyde Farm started as a café on Emmanuel Road in South London—a little corner of genuine Italian food and good company in the heart of the Hyde Farm Estate. We’ve since taken things online, so the same carefully sourced products we serve every day in Balham can now be delivered to your door, wherever you are in the UK.

What does ‘Genuine Italian Goodness’ mean in practice?

No shortcuts. No industrial flavours. No products that just look Italian on the label. It means our olive oil is genuinely cold-pressed from Puglian groves. Our pasta is made from ancient grains using slow-drying methods. Our taralli are baked to traditional recipes. Every product we stock has been chosen because it’s the real thing.

Can I visit you in person?

We’d love you to. We’re at 71 Emmanuel Road, Hyde Farm Estate, London SW12. Pop in for a coffee, have a browse, and see what we’re all about. Many of our online products are also on the shelf in the café.

What makes your pasta different from supermarket pasta?

The wheat and the drying time, mainly. Our Hyde Farm pasta uses ancient grain varieties like Senatore Cappelli—a heritage durum wheat that fell out of industrial favour because it’s harder to work with, but produces a far better flavour and texture. It’s also slow-dried, which preserves the natural proteins and gives it that rougher texture that holds sauce properly. The difference on the plate is real.

Are your products suitable for children?

Many are—pasta, olive oil, jams, honey, biscuits. Anything containing alcohol is clearly labelled for adults only. For young children with allergies, please read the allergen information on each product carefully.

    Are your products sustainably sourced?

Sustainability isn’t a marketing claim for us—it’s a consequence of choosing the right producers. Small-scale, seasonal, low-intervention farming is the default for the people we work with. Ivan sees this on the ground when he visits.

Can I buy your own-label products in larger quantities?

For things like our olive oil, taralli, coffee, and pasta—yes, we often have options. The 5L olive oil is a good example. Contact us if you’re looking for a specific quantity and we’ll see what we can do. You can contact us by visiting the contact page ( https://hydefarm.co.uk/contact/ ) or sending an email to hello@hydefarm.co.uk.

    Can I order in bulk?

Contact us to discuss. We’re open to conversations—especially for events, restaurants, or corporate gifting. You can contact us by visiting the contact page ( https://hydefarm.co.uk/contact/ ) or sending an email to hello@hydefarm.co.uk

    Do you ship internationally?

Not currently—UK only for now. (Slightly ironic given that we’re shipping Italian products out of South London, but international logistics is a different challenge.)

Do you deliver to remote areas of Scotland or Northern Ireland?

We deliver across the UK. Remote areas may have slightly different delivery timelines or costs—check at checkout for accurate information. If anything looks off, contact us directly. You can contact us by visiting the contact page ( https://hydefarm.co.uk/contact/ ) or sending an email to hello@hydefarm.co.uk.

What do I do if my order arrives damaged?

Let us know straight away—ideally with a photo. We’ll make it right. A damaged delivery is not the Hyde Farm experience. Contact us by visiting the contact page ( https://hydefarm.co.uk/contact/ ) or sending an email to hello@hydefarm.co.uk.

    Can I track my order?

Yes. You’ll receive a tracking link by email once your order is dispatched.
