About This Product

Lost Malawi is a single-estate English Breakfast tea grown on Satemwa Estate in the Thyolo Mountains. Crafted from multiple harvests on this independent, family-run farm, it offers rich, satisfying depth far beyond industrial blends. Sustainably grown without herbicides or pesticides and fairly traded, it can be infused twice for enhanced flavour. A portion of sales supports Rare Charity’s educational programmes.

Rich single-estate Malawi tea

Naturally grown without pesticides

Deep flavour from multiple harvests

Serving Suggestions & Cooking Instructions

Use 2.5g of tea per 150ml (5.5 fl oz) water

Water temperature: 85°C (185°F) if drinking black (without milk). 100°C (212°F) boiling water if adding milk

Infusion time: 1-2 minutes, tasting regularly to find your preferred strength

Multiple infusions: These leaves can be infused at least twice—simply add fresh water (the second pot is often even more delicious than the first, with different flavours revealed as the leaves soften and unfurl)
