About This Product
Negramaro Deli 2021 is a ruby-red Salento wine with subtle garnet reflections. Its bouquet is broad with well-ripened small fruits, while the palate is velvety, harmonious and persistent. Aged in steel to preserve purity of flavour, it pairs beautifully with roasted meats, cheeses, pasta dishes and traditional boiled preparations. Best enjoyed at 18–20°C.
✓Ruby red with garnet tones
✓Velvety, harmonious and persistent
✓Great with roasts and aged cheeses
Serving Suggestions & Cooking Instructions
Traditional Boiled Preparations: This wine is uniquely suited to “traditional boiled preparations” such as an Italian Bollito Misto or a slow-simmered Pot-au-feu. Its velvety tannins and 12.5% ABV provide a gentle accompaniment that doesn’t overwhelm the delicate flavours of boiled meats.
Pasta Dishes: Pair with a classic Puglian Orecchiette with Cime di Rapa or a simple Tomato and Basil Rigatoni. The “ruby-red” fruitiness provides a bright lift to starch-heavy dishes.
Roasted Meats & Aged Cheeses: The “persistent” finish makes it a great match for a Sunday roast beef or a board of mature Pecorino. The garnet tones in the wine mirror the savory, earthy notes found in aged dairy.
The “Lighter” Red Option: Because it is aged in steel and has a moderate alcohol content, it serves as an excellent “bridge” wine for those who want the character of a red without the intensity of a heavy, oak-aged reserve.
Service Temperature: To fully appreciate the “broad bouquet,” serve at a slightly warmer room temperature of 18–20°C.
